The boys at Black & Blue are bringing you another night of first class underground bass music at Dogma tonight, bringing in crowd favourite Kidnap Kid as well as Critical Modulation’s new signing Sam Binga, straight after the release of his label debut, AYO!. Binga is one of the new generation of drum and bass artists that have come through pushing the genre into places its never been before, moving it away from the breaks of yesteryear and experimenting with more grime based sounds.
And to help push the night that he helped create, Jay Perspective has put together a quick 30 minute mix that will help give the uninitiated an idea of what to expect musically from tonight, while those with a love for Exit Records, Cosmic Bridge and Astrophonica will be able to take one look at the tracklist and know that the guy who put this together knows what he’s talking about. Personal favourites include the previously blogged Fracture remix of London Grammar’s track Stronger as well as Grime influenced Gamma by Om Unit and Sam Binga.
There’s free entry before 11:30 for anyone already signed up to the Trent Bass Society and standard tickets still available on the door.
