In from the Wild is the new LP from D&B duo Survival & Silent Witness, set to be released on Dispatch Recordings in February of next year, and with some of the recent releases from this label, (including the all ready posted about Roxy Music by Zero T and Octane & DLRs first full length release; Method in the Madness), it looks like there’s lots to get excited about. To get your mouths salivating even more, label boss Ant TC1 has also recorded a 30 minute mix showcasing roughly a third of the material set to be on the album, and to be honest its sounding better than I’d anticipated, with the relatively mellow opening track featuring the dreamy vocals of Ruby Wood, whose band you may already know (Swanson I’m looking at you) Submotion Orchestra. Other contributors include Cern, MC Lowqui and the Commercial Suicide founder and general hero Klute.
It has been a good year for D&B albums with the likes of Enei, DRS, Octane & DLR, Spectrasoul and S.P.Y. to name but a few, all releasing good quality LP’s, and at the moment 2013 is looking like it will be starting just as strongly as 2012 finished.
